【讲座概要】
      The Chris Argyris Professor of Psychology, Peter Salovey was appointed Dean of Yale College in 2004.  He served previously as Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University from 2003-2004, and he was the Chair of the Department of Psychology from 2000-2003.  Dr. Salovey is also Professor of Management and Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale.

   Dean Salovey received an A.B. in Psychology and a co-terminal M.A. in Sociology from Stanford University in 1980.  He holds three Yale degrees in psychology: an M.S. (1983), M.Phil. (1984), and Ph.D. (1986). Salovey was President of the Graduate and Professional Student Senate at Yale in 1983-1984. He joined the Yale faculty as an assistant professor in 1986 and has been a full professor since 1995.
